{"id":3115,"date":"2022-06-21T16:54:00","date_gmt":"2022-06-21T16:54:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amq-inc.com\/conseil-dadministration-de-lassociation-miniere-du-quebec\/"},"modified":"2023-04-17T14:02:26","modified_gmt":"2023-04-17T14:02:26","slug":"conseil-dadministration-de-lassociation-miniere-du-quebec","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amq-inc.com\/en\/conseil-dadministration-de-lassociation-miniere-du-quebec\/","title":{"rendered":"Board of directors of the Qu\u00e9bec Mining Association"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Qu\u00e9bec City, June 14, 2022<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Following its recent annual general meeting, the Qu\u00e9bec Mining Association (QMA) is proud to announce the membership of its new board of directors, chaired by Vanessa Laplante, Tax and Montr\u00e9al Office Director at the Canadian Malartic Partnership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The board welcomes two new members: Sylvain Morissette, Interim General Manager and General Plant Process Superintendent at Hecla Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s Casa Berardi mine, and Jean-Simon Beaudry, Superintendent, Finance at Glencore\u2019s Raglan mine. They replace the two outgoing directors, St\u00e9phane Ste-Croix, formerly of IAMGOLD Corporation, and Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Verret, Director of Projects, Geology and Exploration at Glencore\u2019s Raglan mine. The QMA thanks them for their work on the board of directors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The QMA is proud to have so many people of high quality and varied experience as members of its board of directors. I am proud to be one of a group of men and women working steadfastly to make Qu\u00e9bec a model for mining in the rest of the world.
