Il se trouve imm\u00e9diatement en dessous de l\u2019ancienne mine Horne qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 exploit\u00e9e par Noranda de 1926 \u00e0 1976.<\/p>\n<p>Le projet Horne englobe les anciennes mines Horne et Qu\u00e9mont ainsi que le g\u00eete Horne 5. Falco d\u00e9tient 100 % des int\u00e9r\u00eats sur 74 000 hectares de terrains dans le camp minier historique de Rouyn-Noranda. La soci\u00e9t\u00e9 contr\u00f4le 70 % du camp dans son ensemble, y compris la mine Horne de calibre mondial, ainsi que 13 autres anciennes mines d\u2019or et de m\u00e9taux de base.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Un potentiel prometteur<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dans un\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.falcores.com\/French\/nouvelles\/press-release-details\/2016\/Falco-annonce-une-augmentation-importante-des-ressources-de-Horne-5-1032016\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">communiqu\u00e9 dat\u00e9 du 3 octobre 2016<\/a>, Ressources Falco rendait publique la mise \u00e0 jour de l\u2019estimation des ressources min\u00e9rales de son projet. Cette mise \u00e0 jour augmente les ressources globales \u00e9quivalentes en or de 32 %, soit:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>736 000 onces d\u2019\u00e9quivalent en or en ressources mesur\u00e9es;<\/li>\n<li>6 336 000 onces d\u2019\u00e9quivalent en or en ressources indiqu\u00e9es;<\/li>\n<li>1 710 000 onces d\u2019\u00e9quivalent en or en ressources pr\u00e9sum\u00e9es.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>En plus de l\u2019or, le projet Horne 5 renferme de l\u2019argent, du zinc et du cuivre. Le gisement demeure ouvert en profondeur, ce qui lui conf\u00e8re un excellent potentiel de d\u00e9veloppement.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00c9tudes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le 9 mai 2016, Ressources Falco a diffus\u00e9 les r\u00e9sultats de l\u2019\u00c9tude \u00e9conomique pr\u00e9liminaire (EEP). L\u2019EEP indique que le projet Horne 5 correspond \u00e0 un projet d\u2019exploitation mini\u00e8re sous terre \u00e0 forte marge sur une p\u00e9riode de 12 ans, avec des param\u00e8tres \u00e9conomiques des plus int\u00e9ressants dans le contexte actuel du prix de l\u2019or.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/s2.q4cdn.com\/211529177\/files\/doc_downloads\/Fact%20Sheet_FR\/FactSheetMay2016Fr.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Les faits saillants du projet sont pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s dans cette fiche d\u2019information<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Ressources Falco devrait investir environ 1,34 milliard de dollars pour mener \u00e0 terme le projet Horne 5 et g\u00e9n\u00e9rer un produit brut de 6,8 milliards de dollars.<\/p>\n<p>La mine produirait annuellement 236 000 onces d\u2019or pendant 12 ans; elle emploierait environ 525 personnes.<\/p>\n<p>Sur la base de 12 ann\u00e9es d\u2019activit\u00e9, la mine pourrait produire 3,1 millions d\u2019once d\u2019or, 807 millions de livres de zinc, 194 millions de livres de cuivre et 23,8 millions d\u2019onces d\u2019argent.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019usine sur le site traiterait entre 10 000 et 15 000 tonnes de minerai par jour.<\/p>\n<p>Les co\u00fbts de restauration sont estim\u00e9s \u00e0 51,6 millions de dollars.<\/p>\n<p>Selon ses estimations, Ressources Falco pr\u00e9voit que la mine sera mise en service en 2020 et qu\u2019elle atteindra sa pleine capacit\u00e9 en 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s la publication de cette \u00e9tude, Ressources Falco a entrepris l\u2019\u00e9tude de faisabilit\u00e9 du projet et l\u2019\u00e9tude d\u2019impact environnemental.
